CherryPicker is a dual-sided hiring marketplace that connects recruiters, candidates, and companies through a curated, credit-based system. NITM led product, project, and full-stack development across mobile and web to revamp the platform for scale, polish, and performance.

Recruiters couldn’t track candidate interest, companies lacked control over postings, and no one could manage or measure value effectively.
The absence of a credit system meant companies had no structured incentive to participate, and admin users lacked basic controls like credit assignment or marketplace management.
The mobile app was initially unstable and unready for production release. We diagnosed key issues and launched the app successfully to both iOS and Android stores.
The backend was not prepared for increased data from users, companies, and job posts. We made architectural adjustments to ensure the platform could scale safely.
The product roadmap lacked critical clarity. We partnered closely with CJ to refine priorities, surface edge cases, and align technical direction with launch goals, often playing the role of both guide and devil’s advocate.

CherryPicker is now positioned to scale. With improved recruiter workflows, company profiles, and a working credit economy, the platform offers a more transparent, structured way to connect talent with opportunities, and monetize access along the way.
System now supports credit management, subscriber setup, and job post moderation.
Over 20 bugs and UX issues resolved across web and mobile environments.
Our work followed a tightly scoped roadmap. We handled product strategy, story grooming, sprint planning, and full execution across engineering, QA, and design. Priorities were set collaboratively with CJ, and delivered in milestone-based releases.
