plenty is a recipe creation & sharing social media platform focused on saving people time and money, amplifying wellness efforts, and reducing household food waste. Plenty offers users the ability to: create and share recipes; connect with friends, family, and their favorite food influencers; collaborate on cookbooks; locate food-related events; access premier educational content; and discover personalized recipe suggestions based on their unique lifestyle metrics and available resources.
There were many conceptual features (e.g. cookmarking, fridge tracking, social feeds) but no structured user flow. We helped translate vision into visual flows.
The team wanted to test core hypotheses about how users would interact with the product before investing in full-stack development.
Plenty had a compelling mission: reduce food waste through social sharing, but no functional prototype to communicate it to users or investors.
Most food apps are built for passive scrolling or recipe hoarding. Plenty needed to merge entertainment with education and intention.

The Plenty prototype gave the team a powerful tool to communicate their mission, test UX assumptions, and prepare for fundraising and development. The work helped crystallize priorities and lay the groundwork for a launch-ready product roadmap.
Delivered all screens, assets, and functionality in under 6 weeks.
Used in presentations to advisors, funders, and beta users.
Our project spanned two main phases: visual design and interactive prototyping. We worked closely with Erik and the Plenty team to iterate on creative direction, align on key UX decisions, and produce a high-fidelity prototype that could simulate product functionality.
Delivered three initial concepts aligned with Plenty’s mission, followed by collaborative refinement.
Designed screens for profile, follow, cookbook, events, discovery, and recipe creation.
Built the full prototype using Invision with mobile support for real-world testing and stakeholder walkthroughs.
NITM designed and built a fully interactive prototype based on Plenty’s brand, mission, and design vision. We included recipe feeds, profile flows, activity streams, cookbook features, and share flows to simulate the full user experience. The prototype was built for live user testing, investor pitching, and creative alignment across stakeholders.
This was one of those projects where the founders came in with heart and a mission. Our job was to give that mission form, to turn vision into interface, and values into interaction.
